In 2003, Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) led to an epidemic that affected thousands of people globally and killed hundreds. The new respiratory virus that has sickened hundreds of people in China are believed to be a SARS-like coronavirus. In this article, we list patents that are related to SARS to help doctors/researchers quickly develop treatment plans to address the rising concerns over the global outbreak.
