Grounded by design
Every reference in a report is a real source from Paper Digest's continuously updated index — research papers, patents, grants, clinical trials, Wikipedia articles, company filings, and trademarks — plus other credible sources, and each one is linked, so you can verify any claim yourself. References are retrieved, never generated.

Is the research report LLM-generated?
By default, large language models help write the final report, on top of Paper Digest's own search, semantic analysis, and summarization stack, developed since 2018. The analysis is grounded in the retrieved sources, and every citation links to a real document.
Does it hallucinate references like general-purpose AI chatbots?
Cited sources are retrieved, never generated: each reference is a real document from our index or another credible source, with a link so you can verify it yourself.
What sources does a report draw on?
